Do It Already!

So I've been talking about starting a blog for months now, even before I started my photography business. I've read a few blogs and really like following other friends and photographers lives. Hey, it's kind of like watching reality TV, except instead of watching who will be flipping a table this week, I'm actually getting inspired through reading about relationships, parenting, crafts, and of course, photography. (That's not to say I don't love myself some Real Housewives drama!) One of the first blog's I actually started following was my friend Charlene's. I love how it gives me a glimpse into her life even though she lives in another state. She and her hubby actually came to visit this weekend and finally convinced me to stop talking about starting a blog and to do it already! Let's face it, time for yourself when you have a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old is VERY LIMITED. But I do get a couple of quiet hours a day. Thank you nap gods! So here I am, blogging away. So thank you Charlene! This post is dedicated to YOU!

This Sunday was actually a really gorgeous day here in Tallahassee. I can tell just by the smell of the air that Fall is on the way, which means gorgeous weather for long walks with my girls, pumpkin patch trips, the smell of apple cinnamon candles, pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks, and Halloween! We took advantage of the beautiful weather and took a trip to Dorothy B. Oven for a maternity photo shoot with Charlene. Oh yeah, did I mention she is pregnant? :) Charlene and James are old college friends of ours and we have watched each other get engaged, married, and have little ones of our own. I was making my little one some rice cereal on Sunday morning and asked James to pass me the breast milk to mix it with. We had a laugh because we used to pass each other beers, and now were passing around the breast milk. Anyway, Charlene is also a photographer and we had creative juices flowing at the park.
